This book is fiction but based on facts and highlights the work of the Church of the Nazarene in Mongolia. Genghis’s world turns upside down when his father decides to move the family from the Steppe, where they have always been nomadic shepherds, to the city. On the Steppe, Genghis knew what to expect. His life closely intertwined with nature, and his family operated by age-old traditions. In the city, Genghis’s father seems lost. Miserable Ghengis finally discovers seeds of hope at the Community Center run by the Church of the Nazarene. He hears about a God who loves him and offers a rock-solid foundation in a world where everything is changing.
