This four-week series is based on the film I, Robot. As you move through the series you will help students 1) consider the difference between rules and relationship, 2) look deeper than a person's appearance, 3) understand the importance of taking care of our souls, and 4) understand our uniqueness.
Lesson 1: Breaking the Law?--The goal of this lesson is to help students understand and accept Jesus' invitation to honor the laws of relationship over religion. (Mark 3:1-6)
Lesson 2: Someone-- This lesson wrestles with how easily we see each other as objects and labels instead of God-loved human beings with dreams and desires, and how to begin reflecting God's perspective in the way we view others. (John 4:4-30)
Lesson 3: Soulware--This lesson helps students grasp God's design of our soul as the center of who we are, and to be actively involved in how our souls are fed. (Deuteronomy 6:4-6)
Lesson 4: Unique--This lesson recognizes that each one of us is uniquely and purposefully created by God. (Romans 12:4-6)
