David A. Seamands

David A. Seamands is the best selling author of several acclaimed books, including Healing for Damaged Emotions (more than 500,000 in print), Putting Away Childish Things and Healing of Memories. Born in India of missionary parents, he and his wife, Helen, returned to India as missionaries. Back in the United States, he was pastor of the Wilmore United Methodist Church for 22 years. He is now professor of pastoral ministries at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. The Seamands have three children and eight grandchildren.
